LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

A poem I once read as a child came to my memory today, and with a little searching I found it. It Inspired me then, and it inspires me today. Enjoy!
Life is Beautiful
William J. Burrows
Always live your life to its fullest.
Enjoy laughter, touch a star.
Smile for today while you shine through your tomorrows.
Open your heart to strangers; destiny may bring newfound friends.
Venture out, conquer the unconquerable.
Look where others dare not look, and question all that is questionable.
Remember that happiness is the home we build within ourselves.
Speak your mind.
Hear a symphony within silence.
Open your heart.
Challenge tomorrows and treasure yesterdays.
Capture all that you can in this beautiful creation called life.
As I read that poem again, and again. I realized WHY I Love it so much. It’s daring and Adventurous. “Open your Heart to Strangers, Destiny May bring newfound friends…look where others dare not look and question all that is questionable.” I must say, “Question all that is questionable” stuck out to me more as I read it today….the Author is almost begging us to believe that ‘there are things that are questionable, but he is also gently reminding us us as well that there are things which are not.
For all the times we questioned, and continue to question the ‘things in Life’, may we separate those things which are ‘questionable’ and those that are ‘not!’
May God give us grace when we are wrong. For if we stop and ponder about that one point, God does give an abundance of Grace to us all since ONCE WE were all “Questioning The Unquestionable!” As we Questioned the existence, and certainly the Rule of the Everlasting, All Knowing, Never-Changing Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
A Savior worth Having
May God Grant Us Grace, And Peace….Amidst the Storms of Life,
May We Take Up Our Cross, To Show Others The Only Worthy Fight.
For long ago, on Calvary’s Hill, a Savior Died, It Was God’s Will,
To Show The World, One And All, Who He Was, Once and For All.
For He Came to Die, To Save Our Lives,
To Show Us How To See, To Live With Him In Heaven Throughout all Eternity.
We Have A Friend, Who Heaven and Earth Agree Is Lord Of All,
Oh …Won’t You Heed, Your Father’s Call?
For HIS Voice Is Gentle As a Breeze in Spring,
As a Lion, He Can Roar, Terrifying Everything,
But HIS Deepest Desire, Is For Our Love To Be HIS,
Without Using HIS Power, Is How He Chooses to Give,
For How Could Love Be Love, If His Power Was The Source,
As Our Father Pours Out Unconditional Love, On All Of Life’s Course,
Some See Him and Choose To Obey; Some Rebel, to Choose Their Own Way,
HE See’s It Before We Ever Could & Do; No Matter the way, He Will Always Love Me & You,
Despite The Hurt, WE and THEY Cause in HIS Heart,
Those Who Love and Obey Him, From Him Will Never Depart.
He’s a Savior Worth Having, A Friend Indeed,
For When Life’s Troubles Come Knocking, He Hears My Every Plea.
So, If You are Searching and Seeking My Friend,
Please Don’t Look too Hard, Or You’ll Miss Him in the End,
For If You Ask To See Him and then Brush the Butterfly Away,
You’ll Most Likely Ask To See Him Again, Another Day.
If You Ask to Hear Him and Ignore the Bird’s Song,
You’ll Ask Again To Hear Him…Before Too Long,
If You ask to Touch Him, then ignore the Beggar On The Street,
Once More Will You Ask, My Jesus To Meet.
~In HIS Love

He is a Savior worth Having!
May God Use Anything we do, for His Glory.
My Wife and I talked have always talked about how we want to be used by God for HIS glory……John Wimber use to say “I’m just a coin in his pocket, he can spend me anyway he sees fit.” We’ve always loved that saying we heard and agree with it and took our own take— we want to be Lead Pipes…a Lead Pipe, in and of-itself, is Worthless, it’s not expensive, and not very pretty, BUT what It Carries is very valuable…such as Fuel Or Oil.
Prayer for Today:
May Father’s Glory Flow through Us, and so make us Lead Pipes for the Kingdom of God!.
In Jesus Name!
Amen.
